Employee Health Self-Certification
Touch-Free Thermal Skin Temperature Check
#3. Safeguarding the health of employees
"Many employees are eager to return to work, but many are also worried about being able to do so safely. Companies will need to both reassure employees about safety and find ways to motivate them in a post-lockdown world. Three simultaneous actions will be needed:
We ensure that employees return to work only when they feel ready, healthy and safe to do so.
We empower employees to self-certify that they are ready to be at work and perform entry-point verification as an extra checkpoint to support a safe office post-covid reopening.
Restarting normal business operations after a medically necessitated lock-down is difficult to plan and manage.
Daily self-certification against current Covid symptoms, with entry-point verification is the most effective and collaborative method available.
Employer liability risks are reduced, because we are making a definitive, auditable, best effort, to ensure that employees are not forced back to work until they self-certify that they are ready and the employer makes a final check for a problem at the door.
Every day, each employee, contractor or visitor that enters any company location must self-certify against a list of current covid symptoms. This assures that to the best of their knowledge employees are healthy and feeling well.
At each entrance, a skin temperature thermal camera (infrared) check is performed. Every day, the first time a person attempts to enter the premises, it checks for fever.
iSelfCheck allows for manual fever and other symptom checks to be configured.
The system allows authorized users to see a real-time dashboard that shows the self-assessed state of the organization by date and by location. This allows you to track, in an auditable manner, how the covid reopening is managed.
